It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day

Just one more update about Radley. First thing this morning, we took him to the vet. The plan was to get the sutures removed, but, suspiciously, they were already largely gone. Apparently we didn’t watch him as closely as we thought during those spans that he had his cone off. Regardless, they said his incision had healed nicely. I’ve previously noted the documentary that was made about this contest and my team’s surprisingly prominent place in it. Turns out this documentary will be showing on Wisconsin Public Television fairly soon, and, as part of that airing, one of the … Continue reading The sun is up looks like a perfect day to put our soldiers on a cake parade

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone

Since I dutifully posted the trailer that inspired gales of online love a couple weeks ago, I should probably post the very funny parody that has followed in short order. Due credit: I found this because someone else found it first. (Posted simultaneously to “Drilling Holes in the Wall.”) Continue reading When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone
