Break

I’ve been a very errant reporter in this space the past few days. The last I left you, my teammates and I were about to participate in the 40th edition of the World’s Largest Trivia Contest. We did very well, with an extremely respectable thirteenth place finish. I intended to post a couple of updates during the weekend but got lost in the swirl of the contest. I’ve previously noted the documentary that was made about this contest and my team’s surprisingly prominent place in it. Turns out this documentary will be showing on Wisconsin Public Television fairly soon, and, as part of that airing, one of the … Continue reading The sun is up looks like a perfect day to put our soldiers on a cake parade

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone

Since I dutifully posted the trailer that inspired gales of online love a couple weeks ago, I should probably post the very funny parody that has followed in short order. Due credit: I found this because someone else found it first. (Posted simultaneously to “Drilling Holes in the Wall.”) Continue reading When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone
