Lately, I feel as though I’m continually disappointing my friend who goes by many handles, including whiskeyson. I keep discarding all these cassettes that he covets; despite a well-established precedent for such commemorations, I let his recent birthday come and go without giving it special attention in our weekly Five for Friday exercise; and I recently discontinued the practice of posting random Batman covers despite his protests.

As for the “Five for Friday” oversight, I tend to rectify that at the end of this week. Until then, I feel the proper way to put a down payment on that is to post something in the spirit of the Batman covers: a comic book panel, taken out of context, that will allow him to make dirty little jokes to his heart’s content.

Let the gags begin a-flyin’.
