I know I’m at least 24 hours late in expressing this sentiment, but in regards to the monologue given to Mike O’Malley’s character last night, I would like to express the following;

No kidding. I can’t quite find the words to express what an impact that scene had on me…it felt monumental. Like I was watching history (and time will tell, perhaps I was…at least pop culture history). I wouldn’t be surprised to see “Kurt’s Dad for President” shirts coming out soon. Hell, I’d wear one…
Everything about Kurt’s relationship with his dad has been so well done, and always beautifully acted by O’Malley, who I never would have pegged as an award-worthy actor before Glee came around.
There are more than a few people in this country who need to be held down and forced to watch that scene a few times over.
