I don’t actually believe that enlightenment is pending for the delusional fan base of the former U.S. president who just received his third major indictment for crimes he perpetrated around the time of his unearned occupation of the White House. Similarly, the embarrassingly sycophantic Republican Party isn’t likely to finally discover their collective spine when it comes to the lifelong criminal to whom they’ve ceded their flimsy morality. Even so, this latest prosecutorial act is uniquely satisfying due to the aptness and severity of the charges. Truly, I will never understand why there is a stream of people who are downright eager to debase themselves and destroy their life’s work for this grotesque, proudly disloyal human being.
