What the accidentally leaked war group chat reveals about the Trump administration by Moira Donegan
There has been plenty of ink, both the old-fashioned and digital kinds, flung around for the past week in response to the amazing ineptitude of a ragtag crew of White House warmongers looping in a random journalist as they plotted a military strike that they knew was going to kill a lot of innocent people, including children, along with their target. This piece, written by Moira Donegan, does an especially admirable job of summarizing the recklessness, arrogance, and general amorality of every participant in the dreadful text chain that gave the exacting of deadly force all the seriousness of a pre-party beer run. The Worst and the Dimmest by John Ganz
Writing for his own Substack, Unpopular Front, John Ganz also weighs in on the the unserious wrecking crew currently responsible for the nation’s security. Ganz does so in more scathing fashion, allowing his contempt for the dazzlingly proud morons to come through. I appreciate that sentiment, too.

Rachel Zegler Is Innocent: Why The Internet Is So Incredibly Wrong About One Of Our Most Promising Actors by BJ Colangelo
I want nothing to do with the Disney’s latest grave-robbing of their own animated legacy, but the presence of Rachel Zegler has nothing to do with my aversion to the project. Indeed, her presence is the one element of Snow White that could come anywhere near piquing my interest. It’s dismaying and despicably predictable that she is the person being targeted by bad-faith actors eagerly taking advantage of the underperformance of the film to punish her for daring to have her own opinions. BJ Colangelo writes about the whole miserable affair and gives Zegler a deserved defense. This article is published by Slash Film.
