I have spent a sizable amount of my week scrutinizing photos so closely that I could start to feel like I’m tipping into madness. Because of this, I’m especially attuned to the frequency of Ember Knight’s new track, “footprints on the sands of time.” According to the tale told within the track itself, Knight was starring at the monolith of tiny print that is the label of a bottle of Dr. Bronner’s soap and starting singing those words before her. It turned into a whole recording project, and now some of her melodious intonations of a soap bottle manifesto of peace are available for all to here.

And there’s more to come. Ember Knight’s new EP, Ember Sings The Dr Bronner Soap Label, is scheduled for release in May.
