As I write this post, news is coming in that federal agents again shot an observer in the streets of Minneapolis. Preliminary reports and supporting video indicate that ICE agents wrestled a man to the ground and shot him multiple times in the chest. The articles I link to above — all exceptional, passionate, and persuasive — don’t even touch on this latest abomination against the citizenry. There’s also nothing in there about the two-year-old girl who was arrested and shipped off to Texas in direct defiance of a court order. That’s how fast the crimes against the people are coming.
For as much fury as I feel, there is hope, too. The first article above is all about yesterday’s economic boycott and accompanying march through the streets. Minnesotans are not accepting this lawless occupation and are standing up for their neighbors, for their safety, and their rights.
