My weekend is occupied. I am lucky enough to spend the next few days helping a cohort of warm, wonderful, downright brilliant people stage a fifty-hour trivia contest over the radio. The theme of this year’s undertaking is Wild West Trivia (which doesn’t mean exclusively trivia about the Wild West, but there were certainly be a few extra on-topic questions scattered throughout), so I am just plain delighted that one of the best new songs of the week happens to be “Cowboy,” the final advance single from Katzin’s new album. I’d offer more thoughts about it, but I’ve got work to do. Off to the Trivia Ranch.
