This Week’s Model — The Rural Alberta Advantage, “Plague Dogs”

In need of some big, room-filling rock ‘n’ roll that’s laced with the sort of dread that can only be inspired by a novel written by the author of Watership Down? Don’t worry, Canadian trio the Rural Alberta Advantage is coming to your rescue. “Plague Dogs” is a standalone single, at least for now. It’s meant to drum up interest in their forthcoming tour, and it’s good enough that it’s got me scheming to to go see them in the compact Milwaukee club that’s long been one of my favorite spaces for live music. I want to hear this big sound in a little room. Who wouldn’t?
