Bush Tetras formed in the late nineteen-seventies. Like a lot of acts formed in the forge of New York City punk rock, they churned out a slew of singles and played loud live shows. They also didn’t release their first LP until a reunion stint in the nineteen-nineties, and have only sporadically done so since. Maybe that more limited output helps explain why all their material sounds so damn good. The quality control is high. The new single “Bird on a Wire” definitely makes one thing clear: These old punks to sure know how to blow the roof off the dump.
They Live in My Head, the new album from Bush Tetras, is scheduled for release later in July.
